Oakrey.Applications

The "Applications" project is a foundational .NET 8 library that provides core application services and utilities for building modular and extensible applications. It includes features for application information management, dependency injection, logging, telemetry, and service preloading.

Features

Application Information Management:

Provides AppInfoBase and IApplicationInfo for managing application metadata such as name, version, logging paths, and deployment details. Includes ApplicationInfoExtensions for additional utility methods.

Dependency Injection:

Integrates with Microsoft.Extensions.DependencyInjection for service management. Includes ViewModelProvider for resolving ViewModels in WPF applications.

Logging and Telemetry:

Supports logging via Oakrey.Log and telemetry via Oakrey.Telemetry. Configures loggers and provides a mechanism for logging application startup and shutdown events.

Service Preloading:

Implements IPreloadable for preloading services with error handling and diagnostics. Supports both sequential and parallel preloading of services.

WPF Integration:

Includes BindableSelectedItemBehavior for binding selected items in WPF TreeView.

Error Handling:

Provides PreLoadingException for handling errors during service preloading.

Installation

You can install the package via NuGet Package Manager, Package Manager Console or the .NET CLI.
